Cynthia La Rue
Cynthia La Rue is a 4th generation woman coffee producer and the true definition of a leader. Her great grandparents are considered pioneers in the industry for being the first coffee farming family to plant the Caturra varietal in Nicaragua over 100 years ago. Her outstanding quality and exceptionally processed coffees have receieved great recognition with roasters and consumers across the world.
Finca La Plata is located 1350m above sea level in Dantali, Jinotega in the Natural Reserve of Cerro El Diablo. On her farm she produces Caturra, Catuai, Catimor and recently has planted Pacamara and Maracaturra. The special micro climate on finca La Plata produces unique flavor profiles with distinct sweetness and acidity.
